The successful candidate for the Training Lieutenant position will be responsible for staff and program development through the coordination and instruction of correctional officer certification training, non-custodial pre-service training, and in-service training in compliance with MTC, the Idaho Department of Correction (IDOC) and Idaho P.O.S.T. standards and directives.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent with four years experience in an adult correctional environment or related field, one of which must be in a supervisory capacity. Prefer experience in curriculum development, training and organizational development. Must be a P.O.S.T certified instructor or able to be certified. Excellent verbal and written skills required. Must possess a valid driver’s license in the State of Idaho with an acceptable driving record unless waived by management. Employment subject to MTC, IDOC and P.O.S.T security clearances.
