Robert L. Marquardt, Ph.D., M.B.A.
Co-founder & Board Member
Prior to co-founding MTC, he was group vice president of Thiokol Corporation’s Education and Training Division, which he also founded. He served as director of Thiokol’s medical division and aerospace operations. He is a leader in conservation projects, developing parks, museums and community projects through private-sector partnerships with all levels of government, business, community boards and foundations.

Scott Marquardt, J.D., M.B.A.
President, CEO & Board Chair
Mr. Marquardt became President of MTC in 1991. Since that time, MTC has had a 275% increase in sales. Mr. Marquardt’s focus is on integrity, performance, leadership and innovation in delivering services to government customers. He is a leader in numerous job training, education, industry and civic organizations.

Jane Marquardt, J.D., L.L.M.
Board Vice Chair
Ms. Marquardt was named Vice Chair of the MTC Board of Directors in 2008. Ms. Marquardt practiced law from 1977 to 2007. She handled a wide range of civil cases and developed an expertise in estate planning. She has served on many community boards in the areas of education, legal services delivery and civil rights. Ms. Marquardt has been an MTC board member since 1980. In 2007 she became MTC’s international business development director.

Roberts T. Jones
Mr. Jones is president of Education & Workforce Policy and serves as the president of the MTC Institute. He served as president and CEO of the National Alliance of Business and served twice as assistant secretary of labor for the U.S. Department of Labor. He is a nationally recognized expert in the workforce development field and co-authored The Jobs Revolution: Changing How America Works.

Ambassador James A. Joseph
Ambassador Joseph is a leader in residence and professor of the practice of public studies at Duke University. He served as U.S. Ambassador to South Africa from 1996 to 1999. His distinguished career in government, business, education and philanthropy, includes service as under secretary of the U.S. Department of Interior and president and CEO of the Council on Foundations.

Andrew Natsios
Mr. Natsios has served as administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) since 2001. He previously served as CEO of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority, secretary for administration and finance for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, vice president of World Vision U.S., and from 1975 to 1987, served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. He has also served on the faculty of the School of Foreign Affairs at Georgetown University since 2006.

Sharon Robinson, Ph.D.
Dr. Robinson was named president and chief executive officer of the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education in 2005. Her career includes executive positions in the National Education Association and Educational Testing Service. Dr. Robinson has served as assistant secretary in the U.S. Department of Education and is a widely respected advocate for the interests of low-income, minority and handicapped students.

Richard F. Schubert, J.D.
MTC’s Washington Representative
Mr. Schubert is vice chairman of the Leader to Leader Institute. He was president and vice chairman of Bethlehem Steel Company from 1979 to 1982. He has served as U.S. deputy secretary of labor, president of the American Red Cross, and president of the Points of Light Foundation. He is currently chairman of the board of the National Job Corps Association.

Lyle J. Parry, C.P.A.
Senior Vice President,
CFO & Secretary-Treasurer
Mr. Parry has been senior vice president since January 1997. Before that he served as the director of corporate accounting and consolidation. Mr. Parry served in several financial management positions and worked as a certified public accountant for eight years.

John Pedersen, M.A.
Senior Vice President, Training Programs
Mr. Pedersen was named senior vice president in January 2000. He began his career in Job Corps as a residential advisor and has served in several leadership positions. He was director of two different Job Corps centers in MTC’s southeast region before becoming vice president of that region.

Odie Washington
Senior Vice President, Corrections
Mr. Washington has served as senior vice president since 2005. During the previous 10 years, he served as director for both the Illinois and District of Columbia Departments of Corrections. He is a seasoned career criminal justice professional, having worked in correctional agencies for 35 years.

Teresa N. Aramaki, S.P.H.R.
Vice President, Human Resources
Ms. Aramaki was named vice president in 1999 and began her career with MTC in 1987. She is active in many community organizations. Teresa is also a board member for both the Utah Career Service Review Board and the Equal Employment Advisory Council.

Dawn M. Call, J.D., M.B.A., C.P.A.
Vice President, General Counsel
Ms. Call has been legal counsel for MTC since 2003. She also supervises the company’s risk management and internal audit departments. Before joining the company, Ms. Call worked for many years at one of the largest full-service law firms in the western United States focusing her practice in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate work. She also volunteers her time to assist several community organizations.

Neil Adler
Vice President, Region ll Corrections
Mr. Adler was named Vice President of Regional Operations for Region ll in June, 2010. In this capacity, he oversees eleven correctional facilities with a population of approximately 10,000 inmates. He has over 30 years correctional experience with the federal government in senior level positions at both the institution and regional level. Mr. Adler most recently served as Warden of the Taft Correctional Institution.

Virleen Ferre, C.P.A.
Vice President, Contract Administration
Ms. Ferre was named vice president of contract administration in 2007. She began her career with MTC in 1996 as the director of corporate finance and later served as the senior director of corporate finance. Ms. Ferre is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining MTC, she worked as an audit manager for one of the world’s largest public accounting firms. She is also involved in various community projects.

Tom Fitzwater
Vice President, Northeast Region
Job Corps
Mr. Fitzwater was named vice president, northeast region of Job Corps in 2010. He began his Job Corps career in 1979 at the Keystone Job Corps Center in Drums, Pennsylvania. Following stops at centers in Iowa, Utah and Ohio, Fitzwater returned to the eastern Pennsylvania Center in 2002, as its director.

Lynette Greenwell
Vice President, Development
Ms. Greenwell has been development vice president since 1997 and has worked in the company’s development department since 1989. Before that, she spent 15 years as a teacher and administrator in public schools and in Job Corps.

Lonnie Hall
Vice President, Southeast Region
In 2010 Mr. Hall was named vice president, southeast region of Job Corps. Prior to that he served as vice president, eastern region of Job Corps since 2004. He has also served as center director at the Turner, Atlanta, Potomac and Gary Job Corps centers. He has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in Job Corps.

Elizabeth M. Lopez
Vice President, Western Region
Ms. Lopez has served as western regional vice president since 1990. She headed the company’s development efforts for more than 10 years and began her career with Job Corps in 1974 as an instructor.

Celeste McDonald
Vice President, Corporate Communications
Ms. McDonald was named vice president, corporate communications in 2008. Prior to that, she served as the vice president of government and community relations and center director at the Potomac Job Corps Center. She developed staff training programs while serving as MTC’s organizational development director.

Al Murphy
Vice President, Regional Operations
Corrections
Mr. Murphy was named vice president in May 2000, after serving as MTC’s director of corrections. He has many years of experience as an administrator, state corrections commissioner and deputy secretary. Mr. Murphy was also president of a private correctional management consulting firm.

Mike Murphy
Vice President, Corrections Marketing
Mike Murphy was named vice president of MTC corrections marketing in 2004 after serving as marketing director since 1997. He has worked in juvenile, community based, and adult secure corrections since 1981 at both an operational and business development level. .

Anita Sharp
Vice President, Central Region
Ms. Sharp was named vice president of the Job Corps central region in 2008. She began her MTC career in 1988 as a residential advisor. Prior to moving to the corporate office she spent three years serving as the Hawaii Job Corps Center Director.

Rich Skeen
Vice President, Information Systems
Mr. Skeen was named vice president of information systems in 2004. He began his career with MTC at the Clearfield Job Corps Center in 1989 as the director of finance and administration and later served as deputy director. He joined the corporate office as a senior director of information systems in 1997.

F. Craig Sudbury, Ph.D.
Vice President, Program Development,
Training and Support
Dr. Sudbury became Vice President of program development, training and support in 1988. He also held several management positions in Job Corp prior to that, including director of the Clearfield center. Dr. Sudbury has worked in the public school system as an administrator and secondary education teacher and has taught at the university level.
