What We Do
Our staff is involved in an extensive range of research topics. The work of the Institute is geared towards a broad audience including policy makers, educators, researchers, practitioners, state and federal officials, workforce development entities, correctional agencies and Job Corps centers.
Publications and reports examine pressing issues and identify trends influencing society and youth today.
Who We Are
Roberts T. Jones, President
Bob is a member of the MTC Board of Directors, as well as former President and CEO of the National Alliance of Business (NAB). He also served two U.S. presidents as Assistant Secretary of Labor. Bob is nationally recognized as an expert in the workforce development field. bob.jones@mtctrains.com
Carl E. Nink,
Executive Director
Carl previously served as MTC's Corrections Marketing Manager. Prior to his career with MTC, he worked for 25 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections, serving as a warden and assistant director prior to retiring. carl.nink@mtctrains.com
Stephen MacDonald ,
Public Policy Research Analyst
Prior to joining the MTC Institute Stephen worked for Lt. Governor Gary R. Herbert. He has also worked for Senator Robert F. Bennett (R-UT) and several local government and non-profit organizations performing public policy research. stephen.macdonald@mtctrains.com
