The Cascades Job Corps Center has established partnerships with over 100 Work-Based Learning sites and on any given day 35-40 of those employers are providing the necessary WBL support for all eleven center vocations. One of the more unique examples is our work with the Pacific Northwest Trail Association. (PNTA) Students from the construction and culinary trades participate in this program. Cascades staff are very active in the business community and attend numerous networking functions. The center maintains membership in 6 local and regional Chambers of Commerce, and the Economic Development Association of Skagit County.
Cascades student volunteers receive frequent recognition from agencies such as United Way and Skagit County Community Action for their year long dedication to community service.
