Flint Hills Job Corps Center has established work-based learning sites with the American Institute of Baking, Mercy Regional Health Center, Fairfield Inn, Holiday Inn, and Alorica, a worldwide customer service center.
The center maintains close ties with the Manhattan Arts Center, the Manhattan Zoo, and the Ogden Elementary School. These relationships provide Flint Hills' students with community service opportunities and mentoring relationships.
Flint Hills' students volunteers have helped build Habitat for Humanity houses, one of which was for a Flint Hills graduate. Staff and students donate blood every quarter for the American Red Cross.
