The Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps Center has developed a partnership with Renaissance Health Care System. This partnership allows students to attend classes at Harold Washington College in preparation to take the Certified Nursing Assistant Exam. Students are then placed at one of the Renaissance Health Care System sites for a paid internship.
The center received National Office approval for a two-year pilot life skills program. A portion of this program has been developed by Stedman Graham and is entitled, You Can Make it Happen in Job Corps. Mr. Graham has visited the center several times and addresses the students.
