| Community Linkages: |
The Red Rock Job Corps Center has strong community ties with Sullivan and Luzerne counties. Work base learning opportunities have been established in Dushore and Wilkes-Barre and community service projects are continually being completed in both counties.
The center's Electrical Wiring trade recently was asked by a Congressman to help with an electrical wiring project at the Catholic Youth Center in Wilkes-Barre. The motto behind the project is "Youth Serving Youth Project".
The center continues to promote Job Corps by enlisting community support in events such as: Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, Groundhog Shadow Day, Make a Difference Day and Job Corps 40th Anniversary year long celebration.
