MTC Corrections Vice President JC Conner Retires After 15 years of service to Management & Training Corporation (MTC), JC Conner is retiring this month from his position as Corrections Vice President over Region II. Conner was hired by MTC in February 1995 as warden of the Bradshaw State Jail in Henderson, Texas. That was the first large correctional facility MTC operated. JC ran Bradshaw in a way that caught the attention of Texas Department of Criminal Justice officials. His efficiency helped launch the positive reputation the MTC Corrections division still enjoys today. As MTC benefited from that reputation and began to grow, JC was asked to head up a new Texas Region for the company. Since that time, Conner has opened or transitioned 17 new correctional facilities for MTC. He started at Bradshaw with responsibility for $6 million in revenues. In 2010, MTC will generate about $173 million in annual revenues from Region II. First and foremost, JC’s priority has been a commitment to successful operations. By operating facilities to exceed customer expectations, new opportunities have come to MTC. Conner capitalized on those opportunities for MTC through countless positive relationships. JC now has a strong and loyal following of supporters, both within MTC and beyond. Fortunately, JC has agreed to serve MTC into the future as a consultant. Former Taft (CA) Correctional Institution Warden Neil Adler will replace Conner as MTC’s Corrections Vice President for Region II. (Posted 6/20/2010) |
