Utah Governor Jon Huntsman has appointed Robert Scott Marquardt to the Utah Systems of Higher Education Board of Regents. 

Scott Marquardt is President and CEO of Management & Training Corporation, headquartered in Centerville, Utah.

He is a graduate of the University of Utah, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management, a Master of Business Administration degree and a Juris Doctorate.

"Scott brings great expertise and experience to the Board of Regents," said Governor Huntsman.  "He has displayed outstanding dedication to our students and to the educational process."

Mr. Marquardt has a long record of support for higher education. He now serves as chair of the National Advisory Board of the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.

At Weber State University, Mr. Marquardt was a member of the Board of Trustees from 1996 to 2003 and chaired that board starting in 1999.
