New Idaho prison warden named as opening draws near
January 25, 2010 –– Construction is continuing, on schedule and on budget, at the new 432-bed, minimum security substance abuse treatment facility south of Boise. Ground was broken on the Idaho Department of Corrections’ prison in July 2008. The new Correctional Alternative Placement Program (CAPP) facility is scheduled to begin accepting inmates this May. The site will be operated by Utah-based Management & Training Corporation (MTC).
