MTC is focused on assisting international governments and the private sector to develop a workforce able to meet the challenges of a global market and the economic goals of a nation.  MTC specializes in complete, customized, systems, which include labor market assessment, employment center operations, ministry and government capacity building, academic education, vocational and applied technology training and job placement assistance.

In the international development world, NGOs and ministries, as well as the private sector, realize the importance of vocational training for their countries, who cannot afford, or do not have the capacity to build programs.  MTC is sought out for guidance and system design.  MTC recognizes that vocational training is not just training in the trades, but a holistic approach to training total communities.  A strong, well trained workforce will alleviate poverty and lead to a sound economy, as well as, stability within a region.

Customized workforce and training programs provided by MTC include, but are not limited to, the following components; assessing the community and industry needs, advising and adapting learning materials and curricula, assessing and upgrading the skills of teachers and staff within institutions.  Additional components include identifying student barriers such as stereotypes, gender issues, cultural shifts, ex-combatant and refugee issues.  MTC also assesses fiscal options and revenue generation, working with partners and private sector to optimize funding and resources, and tracking progress and continuous “learning opportunities”.

Through contracts with USAID, the African Development Bank, UNICEF, Millennium Challenge Corporation, and other private donors, MTC has been able to transfer 25 years of excellence in training and workforce development to an international level.  To further develop projects that are viable and successul, MTC has formed an International Advisory Committee which includes the past administrator of USAID, the American Red Cross, past Assistant Secretaries of Labor, and other international development company officers.
