Senior Vice President Jeff Barton Thanks MTC Staff For Their Impact on the Job Corps Community
“I’m Jeff Barton, senior vice president of education and training at MTC. I want to take a minute to thank all Job Corps staff. You have a tremendous responsibility to not only maintain a safe and secure environment, but to help us create a culture of respect and encouragement where our students will take advantage of opportunities to improve their future. Your work has a long-term impact in the lives of so many people. Thank you for what you do.
“Some good news, we begin operating two new Job Corps centers this summer – the Centennial Job Corps Center in Idaho and the Carville Job Corps Center in Louisiana. A big thank you to all the departments in the corporate office who supported us in this effort. It’s another example of excellent teamwork.
“I believe MTC will continue to grow in all its different business endeavors and continue to help young people in Job Corps, men and women who are trying to change their lives in prison, and other underserved populations here in the U.S. and throughout the world.

“We have a great culture throughout this company. And most of all it’s your professionalism – at each of your operations – that makes MTC what it is.
“I believe in the Job Corps program, and I believe in all our BIONIC staff members who operate each of these centers. It makes me very proud to say this is one more way that we are helping create a better world. We are giving people skills so they can become employable, so they can hold jobs, so their communities will be more stable. It’s exactly what we love doing at MTC.”
