Children Bond with Fathers at East Texas Facility
MTC’s East Texas Treatment Facility, located in Henderson, Texas, hosted a recent Day with Dad event. The Calvary Commission, a local faith-based organization, planned the event which included games, clowns, coloring books, pizza, and a few heart-warming hours worth of kids bonding with their dads. These types of activities help incarcerated fathers build stronger ties with family members and reflect upon the changes they need to make in order to turn their lives around.
