Detainee “Pleased” with His Treatment at IAH Center

The IAH Detention Center in Livingston, TX is responsible for caring for detainees who are held by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Detainee Oscar Isidro Flores-Gomez recently wrote a letter to the warden thanking him for the way he’s been treated. He says,

“I am very grateful for the tasty and nutritious meals that you provide to us. Those meals help us keep ourselves healthy. I am very pleased how the officers talk to us and treat us with respect. They either always ask us if we want to go to outside recreation or to the activity room. Also, the medical attention that the staff in medical provided to us is excellent. They give us medications according to our illness. We also have access to religious services, and the library where we can get books to read. God bless you MTC!”
