MTC to Provide Rehabilitation Programs to 8,000 More Texas Residents

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) recently announced it has awarded MTC with 12 new contracts. MTC currently operates eight correctional facilities for the state of Texas and provides rehabilitation programs at two state-run facilities. With the addition of these new contracts, MTC will provide substance abuse, educational, and life-skills courses to an additional 8,000 male and female residents in the great state of Texas.

“We are grateful to broaden our partnership with TDCJ,” said Mike Bell, MTC vice president for the Texas region.

“MTC has helped hundreds of thousands of individuals rehabilitate their lives through effective programming over the last 30 years. We look forward to expanding our reach in Texas to provide individuals with life-changing programs. Our primary goal is to prepare incarcerated men and women to become contributing members of society after release.”
