Warden Randy Treon of the Sanders Estes Unit, in Venus, TX, expresses his deep appreciation for the facility staff who have persevered under difficult circumstances through the pandemic.

“I’d like to take a moment just to thank all the staff of the Sanders Estes correctional center for all of their dedication and commitment to duty over the last few months of this pandemic. They’ve done a remarkable job supporting each other, showing up for their shifts, and working hard to provide the services that the state expects us to provide for our offender population. They come to work every day, they work very hard despite the dangers of working here during the pandemic. I’m very proud of each and every one of them.”
