Helping Detainees as They Transition Back to Their Communities
We are committed to improving the lives of more than 4,900 men and women in the detention centers we operate for the government, many of whom are coming to the U.S. looking for a better life. While they’re with us, we make sure they have access to great medical care, courts and legal services, healthy meals, recreation and whenever possible, educational opportunities.

I just want to say thank you and commend the personnel and guards here at this detention center. Even in a place like this, these people [staff] make a huge difference for the best. They have treated me with respect and dignity.
In my opinion, MTC is a very modern, it’s a very functional, and it’s a very clean place where they treat the inmates respectfully. And amongst them, a good number of Mexicans.
