See Why One Resident at the IAH Facility Wanted to Say “Thank You”

MTC provides services to men and women held by Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) in immigrant processing centers. One of the five ICE facilities MTC operates is the IAH Detention Center in Livingston, Texas where we provide healthcare, legal resources, recreation, and other services to more than 1,000 men. MTC’s BIONIC (Believe It Or Not I Care) approach creates a positive environment where people feel safe and comfortable.

Before one man was released from the IAH facility, he sent a letter to the facility administrator thanking staff for the way they were treated. He wrote,

“Today I am going with my family, but before I go, I want to thank all the staff of this facility for the good treatment, the good attention and the good care they gave me during all this time that I was here. To ICE officers, to the security officers, to the medical department for the excellent work they do day and night with love in their profession, and for the good food. Thank you all very much, and congratulations for the good work you do.”
