Taking Thousands of Egyptians to New Heights

MTC’s United States Agency for International Development project in Egypt is helping thousands of local families. The project, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education (MOETE) has been instrumental in employing 4,300 technical school graduates, facilitating 3,750 internship opportunities, and providing career guidance to 10,345 students.

Egyptian teachers, school principals, and MOETE staff recently participated in a weeklong training session in Alexandria to learn new skills that will help them more effectively place students in the workforce.
