Chicago Job Corps Teams up with Colleges for Student Success

The Job Corps program places more than 85 percent of all graduates in jobs, higher education, or the military. The highly successful program relies on strong partnerships with community organizations—including local colleges and universities.

The Paul Simon Chicago Job Corps Center, which serves more than 300 students, has teamed up with the City Colleges of Chicago, “a system of seven community colleges and six satellite sites that provide learning opportunities for residents of the Chicago area.”

These institutions of higher learning include Richard J. Daley College, Kennedy-King College, Malcolm X College, Olive-Harvey College, Harry S Truman College, Harold Washington College, and Wilbur Wright College.

The Chicago Job Corps Center currently has students at four of the seven colleges.
