Senior Vice President of Education & Training John Pedersen takes a minute to share his thoughts about MTC’s flexibility during the pandemic.

What a year 2020 was! I am grateful for the resiliency of our staff, students, and the community that supports our program.

Early last year when the Pandemic hit, most of you were working from home, but you still found a ways to show that Bionic spirit you all have and found ways to support our students. In a matter of weeks, you were able to start up distance learning which has improved dramatically now that our students have Chromebooks and Hot spots. You have done a great job keeping in constant touch with our students to remind them that were all there for them no matter what.

I’m so proud of what we have accomplished this year. It’s important that our students feel our support, and that we keep them upbeat and focused. It’s also important that everyone follow our strict COVID-19 protocols.

Thank you again for all you do for keeping each other safe, and supporting the Job Corps community during a very challenging time.
