She wanted to “change her life”, so she joined job corps
Job Corps has given hundreds of thousands of young people the skills they need to succeed in the workforce. It’s a program that works and receives strong support from federal lawmakers. Baylynne Butler graduated from the culinary arts program at the Clearfield Job Corps Center in Utah and has great hope for her future thanks to Job Corps.
“I decided to do Job Corps because I wanted to change my life. And, I wanted to learn more about my passion, which is culinary. Job Corps has made me a better person. It has given me a better outlook on life and an opportunity to start working at a 3-star restaurant. Job Corps helped me find my passion by giving me the skills that I never received and also by encouraging me and motivating me and letting me know I can do anything.”
