MTC Launches New Employee Recognition Program

Soon after MTC was founded in 1981, its founder, Dr. Bob Marquardt, introduced the acronym BIONIC to the company. BIONIC or Believe it Or Not I Care has since taken on great meaning at MTC. It describes how we feel about each other as co-workers and how we feel about the great men and women we serve in Job Corps, corrections, detention, and international workforce development. We look forward to continuing this tradition by introducing our new employee recognition program.

Currently when someone is hired at MTC, they receive a BIONIC pin. In addition, as they complete milestone years of service (five, ten, etc.), they receive a gift.

Beginning this month, new employees will also receive a BIONIC pin at years 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, etc. to recognize our staff’s contributions to making a social impact at their facility, in their community, and throughout society.

To kick off the new BIONIC Pin program, all staff will receive a pin for their current year of service 1, 3, 5, etc.

We’re encouraging our 8,000+ U.S.-based MTC employees to Earn It! Wear It! Live It!
