Marana Facility Receives National Accreditation for Providing Quality Healthcare

The Accreditation Committee of the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare voted to accredit MTC’s Arizona State Prison-Marana Facility.

“It’s a great accomplishment,” says Warden Jeremy Casey. “We got 100% on all essential medical standards which speaks to the professionalism, skills, and competency of our entire medical team. We couldn’t be prouder of them.”

MTC Medical, a subsidiary of MTC, provides medical, dental, and mental health services to more than 500 men serving their sentences at the Marana facility in Arizona.

“It’s a team effort,” adds Jean Brock, senior director for medical operations at MTC. “We are committed to providing excellent services to the individuals in our care. We do it every day, and it’s extremely fulfilling to know that we play an important role in the rehabilitation of these men.”

MTC Medical provides healthcare at ten facilities operated by MTC and at the Putnam County Jail in Florida. Learn more about MTC Medical here.
