U.S. Senator Mike Enzi Glad to Have Job Corps in Backyard

U.S. Senator Mike Enzi from the great state of Wyoming fought hard to get a Job Corps center in his state. Today, the Wind River Job Corps Center educates and trains 300 students—preparing them to succeed in the job market.

Senator Enzi praises the center and program for helping Wyoming youth gain the skills they need to be self-sufficient, contributing members of society.

“Wyoming was the last state to have one Job Corps center. Ours is in the middle of a reservation between two warring tribes with high unemployment. They’re doing energy industry training that is tied to the economy in Wyoming so their job placement is tremendous, so I hope you’ll take a look at that.”
