U.S. Senator: “I Will add support for Job Corps”

During a confirmation hearing for then nominee for Secretary of the Department of Labor Alexander Acosta, U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire said this about the vital role of Job Corps in our economy.

“I will just add support for the importance of job training and our Job Corps centers. New Hampshire has one of the newest Job Corps centers in the country. I had the opportunity to be at its first graduation. I hope you will do everything you can, if confirmed, to support both training and our Job Corps centers.”
