Albany, GA Mayor Issues Letter of Support for Turner Job Corps

MTC’s Turner Job Corps Center in Albany, Georgia, has had a strong partnership with the City of Albany for many years. Mayor Dorothy Hubbard recently sent a letter about the center—reaffirming the City’s commitment to Turner Job Corps.

Mayor Hubbard wrote in part:

“The City of Albany has had a long history of supporting Turner Job Corps. One of the employees in my office is a graduate of Turner who began working with us prior to his graduation. The staff and students at Turner Job Corps actively participate in our community, especially in support of the Mayor’s Economic Development Coalition. It is clear to me that the education and training being provided by Turner Job Corps is having an impact on preparing the students for the workforce.”
