International Corrections Services
Most of our work in corrections is with people who are incarcerated, but MTC also provides re-entry services to more than 27,000 men and women on parole or recently released from prison in the London and Thames Valley regions. We work with many community service organizations to provide these individuals with the resources and tools they need to become successful members of society.
Also in the UK, MTC provides rehabilitation programs and services to more than 230 young adults at the Rainsbrook Secure Training Centre in Willoughby.
MTC provides services to offenders, probationers, and parolees in London and Thames Valley, all designed to significantly reduce re-offending.
The MTC Impact
- 27,000 offenders, probationers, and parolees received services to help them succeed in society after release from prison
- Over 1,000 dedicated staff provided services to the offenders, probationers, and parolees in the United Kingdom
- 234 youth offenders protected and rehabilitated at our secure training center
The need to reduce recidivism—re-offending—is a global effort. Keeping people out of prison lowers cost to taxpayers, improves society, and strengthens local communities. MTC has teamed up with global service provider Broadspectrum to provide evidence-based rehabilitation programs and other services to approximately 1,000 male inmates in Australia. The joint venture, known as MTC-Broadspectrum, operates the Parklea Correctional Centre for Corrective Services New South Wales.
