Coronavirus Information

MTC is closely following any developments in the coronavirus situation that might impact the people we serve at this facility. The safety of our staff and those in our care is top priority. We also want to protect those who visit the facility.

The Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) says frequent hand washing can reduce exposure to and prevent the spreading of the coronavirus. The CDC also recommends:

  • Staying home if you have flu-like symptoms
  • Avoiding contact with people who are sick
  • Avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth

Facility Administrator William DeRevere

Facility Administrator William DeRevere

Welcome to the Imperial Regional Detention Facility. We operate this facility for Immigration & Customs Enforcement. We have been given a great responsibility to care for your loved one—and we take that very seriously. Staff are committed to providing your family or friend with a good, clean, and orderly environment. While your loved one will not be with us for long, we look for every opportunity to provide services so that their stay is meaningful and even helpful as they transition back to their communities. Further, I desire that you regularly communicate with your family or friend through letters, phone calls, and or visits to our facility as your time and resources allow. Thank you.
