Armory Officer Joseph Kibitlewski and inside yard Officer Chase Odom of MTC’s Giles W. Dalby Correctional Facility in Post, Texas, recently collected donations from Post and nearby Slaton to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The group rented a U-Haul in order to accommodate the amount of items they collected. The donations were taken to Victoria to a designated drop-off site to ensure supplies would be distributed where they were needed the most.

Volunteers expressed gratitude to the Dalby officers, the facility, and the community for their generous donations.
