A Message From Dan Marquardt as We Begin a New Year

Service Projects Literacy

All year long we have celebrated MTC’s 40th anniversary. In 1981, MTC was created with the mission to change people’s lives. And because of you, here we are today, doing just that! All year long we fondly looked back at the past 40 years with a deep appreciation for our employees who have made us a leader in social impact, to help others! That’s what were all about!

And in the spirit of helping others, all this past year, the MTC family, all our divisions, participated in four community service projects, one per quarter.

The first quarter, we focused on literacy. We asked staff to donate books that our facilities distributed to various local organizations.

Service Projects Hunger

Second quarter, we tackled hunger by donating to food pantries and even growing gardens at facilities and the corporate office.

Third quarter, we joined forces with many community organizations to help fight mental illness.

Service Projects Mental Health

And finally, in the fourth quarter, we helped ease the pain caused by homelessness. We volunteered at shelters and organized donations of clothing and other necessaries.

And now, as we get ready for a new year, our 41st year, I want to thank you for your dedicated service and commitment to helping the people in our care improve their lives. We couldn’t do it without you!

Service Projects Homelessness

I wish you a healthy and happy new year!
